Weisenberger Mill

Few paintings carry the immediacy of a plein-air work, and Weisenberger Mill is proof of that magic. Marian painted this Kentucky landmark on-site, perched next to an embankment after jumping the road barrier — equipment balanced precariously near the water’s edge! The four-hour session produced a richly detailed study of one of the region’s most beautiful historic mills.
